The Club Hotel

2.5 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (107)
"Pro: Like the simple design of this hotel and the location is convenient for where I needed to go. Room was comfortable. Front office staff were very polite and helpful. Cons: Grout in the bathroom wall needs cleaning. Breakfast is somewhat minimal. Can be improved. There is definitely noise problem at night from the near by bars."

The Scarlet Hotel

4.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1000)
"For a boutique style hotel - the Scarlet is really good. The staff was friendly and accommodating - late check out approved without any hassle. The bed was firm, which gave me a perfect sleep. My accommodation included a free mini bar, which was really nice. Lots of restaurants, nightlife and Chinatown within walking distance. If you are looking for a nice place to stay, without the fuss - this is it. "

Backpackers' Inn Chinatown

2.0 star property
6.6 out of 10, (22)
"Great staff e awesome location, very close to Chinatown MRT station (exit F or E). Room was nice, small as expected, but there are two things I did not like: 1. No window in the room, a noisy fan in place 2. Although bathrooms and all facilities very clean, the rug inside the room was not, lot of long hair, certainly not mine! I did like the good air conditioner and washer/drier facility (self service, S$3 each). Breakfast was simple but consistent, with cereals, cooked eggs, bread/toaster,...

5footway.inn Project Ann Siang

2.0 star property
7.2 out of 10, Good, (205)
"One of the worst check in experience I had encountered. Unhelpful & poor attitude front office staff. Also, very misleading check in information. It’s said 24hrs by self service kiosks which do not issue room so there are no difference from indicating honest check in timing. Very false and misleading information, thus is one of the example from a lists! Regards, K"

Wink @ Mosque Street

2.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (337)
"Thanks for asking what I didn't like. The bed was the most uncomfortable that I have experienced in my travels The mattress was 3-4 inches thick, hard, so worn out that it had a valley right down the middle that was impossible to roll out of. Once you were in "The Valley" you were stuck there. I woke up everyday with extreme back, neck and shoulder pain. Now what did i like? The staff were helpful. The water in the showers was hot. Providing a continental breakfast was nice. location was very...
