I booked a single room which is just next to the lift but I could not hear noise from they lift lobby. But I could hear the train if it was passing by the track next to the hotel. "This is an older Hotel that feels like its prime time was in the 1970's and has never left that era and that was perfectly fine by us! This was a great experience we were greeted as we drove up to the property by name as they were waiting for us! The attendant grabbed our bags and lead us to the desk where we checked in and did so in perfect English. We were given our kimonos to wear during our visit which we did. "建物は新しくないハズですが、古さを感じない位に綺麗にされています。システム上は小学生の子供含む3人1部屋での予約は出来ませんが、先に電話で相談すると、大人2名で予約入れてメッセージ欄に子供の件を書き込んでおくと対応してくれます。朝食に関しては品数は少ないですが、ビュッフェスタイルになっています。宿泊者はロビー横のスペースにあるフリードリンク（宿泊者以外は有料）とマッサージチェアが無料で使用出来る点はオススメだと思います。"

"We drove to the ryokan from Nagoya Centrair and had no problems finding it. Parking was free and it was conveniently located right next to the ropeway (which was great!). Food was delicious and the onsen was great too. The only negative feedback I have is that certain parts of the room was dusty and perhaps the room needs to be cleaned more. Otherwise, it was an very pleasant overall stay."

"We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It is an older hotel but absolutely blew us away with the room and service provided. The room was huge, had everything plus more. The room service was top notch and housekeeping A grade. As foreigners who couldn’t speak Japanese we’d like to thank the hosts of this hotel for your utmost patience with us. Thank you for going above and beyond in communicating with us. Your hospitality won’t be forgotten. Well recommended hidden gem in Nagoya. "

"Staff was very helpful. Breakfast buffet was good and had a decent variety. Note that early check-in and late check-out are perks for Comfort Club Members, so they enforce the 3pm check-in time for everyone else. If that's important, you should sign up before you arrive. Located on the East side of the station. Most all of the stores and restaurants are located on the West side. Easy enough to go through the station even though Google Maps wants you walk all the way around. Likewise, there are sometimes taxis on the East side, there are always several on the West side. There are two restaurants on the first floor of the hotel. One looked like a large Izakaya chain. It was just okay. Didn't try the other one - Kitaya Kitchen."

"The room is not so big, but it should be considered as a spacious room in Japan. It is clean and the location is good. A big shopping mall, AEON, is within few minutes walk. The hotel is offering parking and spa onsite free. Everything is good except the toilet is too high from the floor in the bedroom floor. For aged or kids, it's maybe not friendly."
