Great place to stay in CIX

Smells of mold, and bed bugs
Posted 26 Nov 2017 on HotelsThe room smelt of mold, and the air conditioning did not work. When we complained we were switched to a different room, that had the same problems. We called to get the air conditioning operational many times and they said they were working on it. At the end, they added a 18% tax that was not on the price quoted through hotels.com
Its expensive, smells bad, and no air conditioning in the suites. And although it is in the center of town, think twice before booking this place. only if you can stand being in a room that smells of farts constantly.

Good location and comfortable

Pros: Shower, more than 2 single beds, warm bedding, restaurant and complimentary breakfast
Cons: In bathroom the toilet paper being behind the door a problem with more than 1 person in the room.
Location: Well situated!
Enjoyed our stay as it was close to the attractions we attended

We love to travel and visit several places and this Hotel SUNEC is one of the best huge rooms with AC, new and contemporary furniture, jacuzzi on the baths, delicious buffet breakfast and GREAT SERVICE. You can feel confortable and secure at this place. Lost and found is great you left behind they look for you, help always arround. Great location and on top of everything the people is friendly and courteous. (Free shuttle from and to the Airport)
This Hotel should be rate 4 STARS !!!!!!!! You guys are GREAT.

Modern hotel in centre of Chiclayo

Pros: Comfortable, helpful staff, location and free parking.
Cons: Breakfast!
The hotel has large pleasant modern rooms. We stayed in a suite which faced front. Some might find this too noisy but it was perfectly ok. The windows opened which is a plus and there's a very narrow balcony. Free parking is a big advantage. The breakfast is very average though. There's a bar on the top floor on an open terrace. They say they have a swimming pool but it's tiny.
