Check-in was pleasant and the woman checking in for Holiday Inn went out of her way to find directions using the train to get to the Winter Classic hockey game. I was so impressed she took time out of her work to do this for us, and even printed out the directions for us to take with us. The walk to our room was a bit of a trek- which is fine, as long as you’re not in a hurry. We had to take 2 separate elevators to get to our room. Our room was very impressive, with awesome views of the Chicago skyline. Our room hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly, as there was a half eaten Oreo in the corner of the room, and when we woke up the next day, we noticed the fitted sheet was inside out, and there was a bottle cap under my bedside table. Our TV also didn’t work for 24 hours of our stay, and we reached out about that and they gave us a credit of $100 for that inconvenience, which we appreciated. We also dressed very warm (I was wearing my fiancé’s very large winter coat so Im sure I looked goofy) for the outdoor Winter Games, and I suppose we must have looked like we didn’t “belong” because security questioned where we were going and I had to tell them that we were guests staying there when we got back. The restaurant in the hotel was not open, which was disappointing. We had a great check-in experience, and skyline views were great!

The hotel was nice but but no restaurant no breakfast the market was expensive .. they tried to charge my card another deposit after checkout be careful they will charge your card at random time I recommend a prepaid with only amount for hotel and deposit to avoid being overcharged. Nice location I don’t know if it just all hotels but u have to catch two elevators to get fresh air but the hotel was ok staff was great

Staff was great! The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms were spacious and clean. City views are beautiful. Plenty of other views from other areas of the buiding were great. My 15 yr old grand daughters and their friends loved it! Photo ops galore. Pool was very nice and warm. Parking on the expensive side for one day look into that for sure if staying longer. Also, although you get it back a 200. Dollar deposit per room was charged in case of damages. I thought that was excessive. Didn't know that untill we checked in. I would definitely stay again!

My room smelled like mildew so house keeping came to double check the bathroom and clean the bathroom again. The next day I seen mildew on the ceiling next to the window. I did mention the mildew to the front desk. The hotel is very nice, the store inside is 24 hours, and the staff is always on duty.

The hotel was very nice and the rooms were amazing and clean. The walls are a little thin and the TV was not working. They compensated us with free parking, that they actually charged us for. Additionally, at the end of our stay they begin to add other charges and never sent us the deposit back although our room was left in the same condition we found it in. We called mutiple times and was never helped. It feels like we were scammed out of our money.

I checked in on Dec.31 to bring the New Year in & checked out Jan.2. Of course they take a $100 a day damage fee which is suppose to be returned after check out. In total came out to $200. I called Jan.8 to see what was going on & the receptionist (very professional guy) explained that it was suppose to automatically be returned after check out & or something was wrong with the computers at the time….its Jan.10 & my deposit still have not been returned.
