Staff very pleasant and efficient. Hotel undergoing long overdue and very necessary remodeling. Didn’t use indoor pool, but it looked very nice.

I enjoyed the hotel, however had a couple of snags throughout my stay. I purchased two rooms 6 months ago and upon arrival found that one room was on the first floor and another was on the 6th floor. The hotel is working on renovations and the upper levels are brand new, but the first level is run down. The room on the 6th floor was beautiful, but the Air Conditioning didn’t work and wouldn’t go below 74 degrees. I called the front desk that night and they stated that the following morning it would be addressed. The next day, I had been away for the majority of the day at a conference and was hoping the issue would be resolved by the time I got back. Upon return, I found that the room temperature remained the same and was unsure if anyone had been by to fix the AC unit/temperature controls. I called front desk again, and a very kind man came by and verified that the issue had been assessed but that they couldn’t repair the unit at that time because it required more than just a simple fix. The gentlemen figured out another room for me on the 7th floor and verified the AC unit ran smoothly before leaving. I was very appreciative of that. Staff was wonderful and very accommodating and they are what made our stay pleasant.

The hotel was clean and located close to
The now arena along with shops and some restaurants. The only downfall was that they overbooked and changed my reservation from a king bed with sleeper sofa to a room with two double beds. We were not as comfortable as we would’ve been in our original selection. The front desk simply told us that they overbooked and could do nothing about it. I wished they would’ve asked before changing the room
Especially because I paid for my booking upfront. They did not offer a credit or a discount either. I think it would’ve been the polite thing to do.

The property is beautiful with all newly upgraded rooms. However, we actually left early due to how uncomfortable the beds were. I must say I have never had this experience in ANY hotel I’ve stayed at. The rooms have a single mattress on a platform base. I’m sure this was part of the problem. For reference we had 2 queen beds in our room, and they both felt similar to a stuffed cot.
