Arrived hotel late. Unable to review shopping & other service options in this hotel. I appreciated 2 night staff friendliness & kindness when my husband made himself got lost till 12:30 a.m. due to his stubbornness in parking the car in the neighbourhood. The lady staff used her phone a lot to communicate, help & soothe me when I was under tremendous stress for 1.5 hours without any contact from my husband. The hotel staff & I started worrying if something went seriously wrong during his absence. The male staff was also very kind by taking me to the parking lot where he dropped off my husband.
Breakfast was very good and healthy with lots of options to choose. I would recommend Hotel Toyoko Inn Chiba Ekimae to my friends and relatives when they go to Japan.

The staff members were amazing. They were so helpful. Their memory of their guests was phenomenal. When we returned from being out to eat, they handed our room keys to us before being asked.

Old style hotel from the 70's leave your key with check in when you go out and retrieve it when returning. very clean lotsa room. Had a huge shelf by the window to place your suitcase on and not forced to leave on the floor or one of those slippery suitcase racks. this property was the best of our trip.

Posted 9 Mar 2019 on HotelsThe staff are great. The area is good. The traffic lights have a pedestrian crossing that beeps all day and night. This is easily the only thing I hate abut this hotel. I now have perfect pitch with that intersection sound. I will never forget it. It is a major 3rd note followed by a root note, in case you muso people care. The noise is every minute. Forever.
I changed room and could not hear it very easily at all. That was a vast improvement.
If you are facing the intersection, you may go crazy. If you are facing the internal atrium/chasm/void of the hotel, you may be OK. The staff are great people, by the way. Very friendly. Oh, the breakfast is sort of OK for a Western guy like me. I just want to get as many nutrients as possible before going out all day. Luckily, there is a pretty good Miso soup at the hotel's breakfast dining area (probably every day) that contains seaweed. It is recommended to drink/eat as much of that as you can. If you hate seaweed, then try to change yourself. Just eat it. Apart from that, there were rice things (Onigiri maybe), plus some other basic foods. The cafeteria ladies were very friendly, as you would expect.

Hotel staffs not helpful
Car park avialable but no entry after 1800 hours (meaning not able to use your car after 1800 hours till next morning)
