"The bed was clean, the room was clean, the lock worked, and it was cheap. Towels in the room would make it more expensive. So would selling bottled water that did not stand in the sun for months. So would not having people manoeuvre their huge 4x4 three meters from your bed at 6:06am. Anyway, I did not have to sleep in the street, so it was a win. The receptionist did all she could to make it a positive experience."

"It was a great experience the place was breathtaking so peaceful and beautiful. Super easy to get around on foot private car or a taxi. Sergio was very helpful with places to go visit, dinner or just downtown in general he also recommended a taxi guy to move around who was very professional and friendly. Sergio was available for any questions via WhatsApp at all times which was awesome. The hotel also provides a private boat tour to el cañón del sumidero which was amazing since its available...

"Great value. Walking distance to cathedral and Marimba park. Uber to Sumidero canyon to the fountain in Chiapa de Corzo (Pila) with 2 blocks walk to pier(Embarcadero). Commentary in Spanish only."

"The room is not very soundproof at all. You’re going to hear all the traffic, music, sirens until 1AM and then you’ll hear staff come in at 5:30 AM working downstairs. I think it’s the door being too thin. You just hear everything as if your door is open. No blanket either, just a sheet. It does have air conditioning. Place is very clean."
