"A beautiful old castle that has been completely refurbished/modernized on the inside, sitting on a beautiful property with nearby forests, vineyards, and olive groves. After the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence, the serenity here was perfection. We stayed in the 'deluxe double room' which was absolutely fantastic. "This was an absolute highlight of our trip. The castle is beautiful and incredibly well kept. The proprietor visited our table one morning, at the beautiful breakfast they offered, and gave us some fantastic history of the property and the upgrades she has made to the castle and the grounds. Nothing short of excellent!"

"Property is beautiful! Actually picture perfect, with a good breakfast, and great value for the price . The best part is your staying on a winery and you can even smell the grapes fermenting. A great experience! The town Certaldo is so cute , we had a car and explored all around. I really recommend Maestrini Auto for a car rental in town. Recommend this hotel we loved it. "

"What an amazing place! Volpaia is a unique venue, in a beautiful setting and it was a joy to stay there. Our room was lovely- comfortable, clean and with a stunning view- even from the loo! The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good - in short we could fault our stay at Castello di Volpaia."

"We stayed as a family and enjoyed the properties facilities including pool swings and outdoor games. The Tuscan dinner was enjoyable with amazing views. Property in convenient to local restaurants and provided a great recommendation list. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. Great value. My only suggestion would be to provide some basics on arrival such as tea, coffee, milk. A hairdryer would also be useful."

"My family and I stayed there for 2 nights, at the family suite. It was very clean and well decorated & furnished, with private pool and garden. The environment and view were good, staff were helpful, buffet breakfast got lot of choices. Highly recommended this lovely place "
