The pros- clean room, nice employees, walkable to the night market and other key points of interest.
The cons- Rock hard mattress, the bed was on a platform that made getting in and out of bed very awkward, the noise... Oh my goodness, the noise was terrible. I could hear people in the hall, people in the courtyard, the plumbing, the squeaky floors, the beeping door alarms... This was a very uncomfortable stay overall and I was wishing I hadn't paid for all four nights by the morning of day 3.

Property should be 3 star at best. Fake orange juice and cheap products for breakfast think they are dying as a hotel and trying to cut corners. No lifts. In need of a major refurbishment everything to old and a little run down. I can see it might have warranted a 4 star 10 years ago but by todays standards its not up to the quality of a 4 star or of 4 star service. Leaky bum guns. Lights that do not work. Old aircon systems. Bed was clean but linen marked.

Good value, and conveniently located
Posted 11 Apr 2023 on HotelsMy Thai wife and I stayed at the Diamond Park Inn a year ago and decided to return this year during a short visit to Chiang Rai. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and the hotel is very reasonably priced. It's not directly in the middle of the night plaza area, but still within walking distance, and it's quieter than right in the heart of that area. The pool is nice and the staff is friendly. Our room had a minor plumbing problem in the toilet when we checked in, but a maintenance man came right over and took care of it with no delay. The breakfast area is very pleasant with seating both in- and outdoors. While the breakfast isn't exceptional, it is more than adequate, and the coffee machines brew very good coffees, cappuccinos, etc. All in all, the Diamond Park Inn is very good value for the money.

Great value
Posted 10 Jun 2022 on HotelsWe had a very nice three-night stay. The double room we wanted wasn't initially available but the hotel nicely moved us to the double after our first night. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel is actually a closer walk to the Chiang Rai night bazaar than the guides indicated. The pool is nice, the staff helpful, and the included breakfast was also better than we anticipated. All in all, great value for the price; we would stay there again.
