Love the clean old setting hotel. Breakfast was amazing. The variety of food. Staff are very helpful with getting transport for us. We don't use our mobile in Chiang Mai.

The rooms for the same grade (deluxe double) can vary a lot! The room I had first allotted was so old and looked totally different from the pictures shown. I complained about it and was assigned to another better room on the next day. The staff's attitudes were generally good, except for one or two front desk staff who kept speaking to me in Mandarin because of my Asian-looking face, although I had emphasized that Madarin is not my mother tongue. My impression was that they treated Thai or other non-Chinese customers generally better than Chinese. However I trust this bias shouldn't be happened.

Lovely instagrammable hotel by the Ping River

This hotel is instagram heaven. It has a nice traditional mixed with modernity decor which makes it great for pretty photos around the hotel ground. Delicious breakfast buffet spread. Staff could improve their customer service by paying more attention to guests, and look more welcoming.

Lovely staff, nice hotel just a few improvements

The hotel was beautiful and the staff very helpful but the only issue was that the hotel seemed to cater more towards Chinese customers than other foreigners and lacked certain amenities. There was little explanation of the amenities and perhaps a book in the rooms explaining everything would be helpful, aka: - pool hours; explanation of how to get to centre/ things to do around the hotel; if there was room service (I don’t believe so); advising lunch/dinner hours as we were only aware of breakfast being available until we noticed others eating dinner - a lunch/dinner menu in English as only Chinese and Thai were available Also, better wifi is needed as it continuously dropped out. Besides these small inconveniences, this hotel is truly an incredible place to spend your time in Chiang Mai and the staff make the experience memorable. The cafe at the front made the best coffee which was a bonus!
