"Convenient hotel for La Daille lifts and funicular train. Supermarket and tabac opposite. Good for a family holiday. Not a luxury hotel by any means but clean and well equipped rooms with comfy beds and kitchenette. We had breakfasts and most dinners here no problem. Would recommend for a reasonably priced hotel for family ski. "

"We are a family of four, with two college-age children, and had a wonderful stay at the Samovar. We stayed in one of the family rooms, which was perfect for us (with two beds in a spacious upstairs loft). The hotel is perfectly located -- literally across the street from the Dailles gondola (and only about a block from the funicular to the summit). "Le logement pourrait être parfait mais la propreté laisse à désirer. Ce qui recouvre le canapé est plein d’auréole, de tâches. La table était colante et mon éponge noire après un premier nettoyage. Le manche de la poêle est cassé, les ustensiles cuisine sont plus que minimum. La tringle à rideau est cassée et le chauffage dans la pièce est au minimum. Il fait donc froid dans l’appartement. Il faut laisser la porte de la salle de bain et des toilettes ouverte car dans ces pièces c’est une étuve....
