Kitty is the best manager I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. We’ve stayed there so much that she’s now our family friend. She became our friend because of how she does her job! She works hard, takes care of everyone, & is just top notch. The staff is always so friendly & helpful.
The only issue I would have is beyond the staffs control…..Breakfast! Bring the full buffet breakfast back. It was one of the best. Covid is over so stop trying to save money and be good to your loyal customers.

We stayed here so we didn't have to drive back to Banner ELK, because of it getting late after being in the Casino. We would like to go back because 1 day was not enough to explore.

Breakfast was one of the supposed amenities. The breakfast supplied was a choice of two different flavored muffins!! THAT WAS IT??

This was our second stay at this hotel. For the money, can’t ask for more. It was off season, cheap rates. Room did have a musky smell and the hotel is dated but was acceptable. No breakfast to speak of but that’s on par with the budget rate. Room was fine, staff was pleasant.
