We thank you for sharing your opinion, and would like to clarify certain points.First of all, your reservation for 2 nights at our establishment was made via the Expedia travel platform with NON-REFUNDABLE rate conditions, however, after check-in you went for a tour of the city, and when you returned you told our receptionist that you had seen all the monuments of interest and that you did not need to stay longer, so, according to your request, you had to cancel your second night. From then on, our receptionist told you to consult Expedia and also she found that it was impossible to refund you, due to your rate choice.On the other hand, our hotel is a riad with a local architectural character of the city of Chefchaouen, well ventilated and airy, and during your stay, while you were enjoying our copious and varied breakfast, at no time did you complain about the bad smells you are referring to, nor about the so-called insects in bed.In this regard, it is essential to emphasize that our establishment relies on the services of an external service provider specialized in hygiene control, plaque and rodents of the facilities, CERTIFIED with the ISO 18001 quality control award. But also, we are convinced that our housekeepers are meticulous and professional in their work, in addition to the EXTERNAL AUDITS regularly contracted to ensure the quality of the services offered to our customers. It is therefore to inform you that the photos you have posted do not belong to our rooms nor to our establishment. We are sorry that we COULD NOT CHANGE YOUR RESERVATION via Expedia, this would certainly have been possible if you had made your RESERVATION DIRECTLY WITH OUR ESTABLISHMENT, and we also hope that next time you will accept the conditions of the reservation’s rate you have chosen, and that you will be more honest and fair in your comments.

When checking in, I get the hotel manger's phone number right away. I can text/call her anytime whenever I have questions. She speaks English fluently so I don't need to worry about the language barrier in Morocco, which troubles me often while I'm traveling there.

Une aubaine en plein coeur de Chefchaouen! Très confortable et mignon comme tout, cet hotel a répondu à nos besoins pour notre unique nuit dans la ville. Le personnel a été accueillant et agréable! Nous y retournerons sans hésitation lors de notre prochaine visite!

Right in the middle of the Blue City.

Beautiful blue city. The rooms were up several staircases and the hotel was up even more. The staff met you at the central hotel Parador where cars had to park and carried your bags to you room for a small fee - well worth it. Rooms were quaint with local decorations. Fruit and pancakes for breakfast. No fridge or kettle. Many restaurant options nearby but easy to get lost. Wifi patchy.
