Lovely location and grounds. Not enough staff
Posted 19 Jun 2024 on HotelsWe arrived at the end of a long drive. The property grounds are lovely. The property details say restaurant and bar. The restaurant doesn’t open on a Sunday evening so we had a local pizza take away. The bar also closed early too. Upon check out, reception was not manned.

What a lovely Logis hotel . Superb grounds to walk around with modern art dotted around the gardens . Food was extremely good . Would recommend this hotel

The grounds are beautiful and the room was comfortable.
The staff was very friendly to our non-French speaking group. When checking out, I had accidentally left several hundred Euros in my room. The cleaning staff found it and returned it to the front desk. The manager called to tell me and we were able to return later in the day to retrieve it. I appreciate their integrity.

What a superb location . The grounds of the Hotel are unbelievable with lots of modern sculptures. Very peaceful location

Excellent dining

Pros: The location and gardens are fantastic
Cons: Be aware that the Park rooms are some distance from reception and the restauant. As per all French horels, small rooms and basic amenities

After a long drive the location and gardens were a breath of fresh air despite the rain and the staff were great even with a conference group at the same time
