Novotel Chartres

Nice for a stopover.
Posted 13 Aug 2024 on HotelsReception areas and bar/restaurant are modern and fresh, rooms a little dated but clean and comfortable.
The pool was nice to be able to cool off in on a hot day after a long drive from the Alps.
The evening meal was nice, and so was the breakfast.
Staff mostly helpful, however we did feel at times the service was little below what we've come to expect from Novotel.
For example, my wife was in need of some sanitary products on the morning of our departure, the receptionist said they had run out and hadn't gotten around to ordering anymore. No effort was made to assist beyond this, which was a disappointing end to the stay.
