Staying at this hotel isnot a hospitality experience. It’s renting a room. That’s all. The valet is a different company. The cafe another. The bar another. The restaurant another. Like a food court of a hotel experience. The “ front desk” person is not empowered to help you as they have to check with “virtual”. Which means they call someone off shore who manages many properties and they read from a manual. Very impersonal experience.
We had an issue with the heat not working in our room. Multiple texts to “ virtual” 3 phone calls to virtual. 3 visits by hotel staff who wanted to try to help but could only read from a manual or call virtual. The virtual was not able to find us another room in the hotel, would not provide us space heaters, and was unwilling to help us find a room at another hotel. They would only offer us a refund for the amount of my discounted rate for advance booking. The hotels in the area had much higher rates if we tried to go somewhere else in short notice.
Thank goodness for a maintenance guy who was not on site was willing to come take a look and he was able to fix it after 3 hours in a cold room with our coats on.
If you still want to give it a try… the bed and linens were very comfortable and the shower had good water pressure and hot water.
Will never stay here again, nor any other Blue Suede properties.
