I would hope that the mornings for breakfast would have a more inventory of choices to pick from, Not dried up pastry or a bowl water down fruits. I believe the next time I will stay at Sleep Inn, They offer a breakfast eggs bacon pancakes waffles and so on.

It is a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Charlevoix the Beautiful. A warm and cozy hotel on a cold Michigan weekend. Loved it!!!

We would visit again. Only minor drawbacks; 30 minutes from Boyne, limited onsite parking, heater was very loud, no exhaust fan in bathrooms. All aside, highly recommend as the property was well maintained and offered great amenities.

The Earl is a quiet, well maintained property. It has a good, free continental breakfast that gets you started right and has a nice bar and food menu for at night at reasonable prices. The staff was excellent and the rooms were clean and a good size. The only concern is the pool which is very small and has a giant support pillar right in the middle of it. Minor concern though, as the overall stay was excellent.

We had dead and live ants in our bathroom. The lighting in the room was very bad. The ceiling lights were harsh and the lights over the bed were dim. There was nowhere comfortable to sit. The furnace made a loud clicking sound every time it reach our desired temperature and turned off and the noise from above us was loud. Unhappy and would not recommend.

The room was beautiful, nicely appointed and the bed was comfortable, even though the pillows were terrible. There was a lot of barking that could be heard from the house across the street so do not request a balcony room if you are sensitive to those types of sounds.

I travel a LOT. This hotel was impeccable. The staff is professional, the room was clean and well stocked and parking is easy. I liked being able to walk to dinner. The only downside was the limited dining options when I arrived (although it was between lunch and dinner). I will definitely be back! Hint- it’s a botiquín hotel so book directly their website- you can request a room upgrade when you arrive if available!
