Location is very awkward - if you don't have personal access to a vehicle it is hard to get to and from downtown Charleston, even with hotel shuttle. On that note, the hotel shuttle does not go to the airport. Your room might have a lovely view of the river...or the scenic Waffle House.
Seems like the room might have suffered some damage in the recent hurricanes, as there were water stains on the ceiling and carpet.
Staff were all fantastic and very helpful.

Property and staff were great beyond words..From the front desk to the restaurant everthing was wonderful..Will definitely stay here again...

Pretty outdated property. Doors were hard to open into the room, and into the bathroom. You can just tell the property is old and outdated. Halls smelled like cigarettes. But, the view was nice and the staff was excellent. About a 2 min drive to Charleston.
