We arrived late so got the room for 2 nights. Our first night we arrived 10 p.m. exhausted from traveling many hours. We are from Utah, west coast. Our room was warm, thought nothing of it. Turned on AC and went to sleep. Woke up at 3 a.m. to a hot room. AC did not work. When I asked for a different room because of the broken AC, we were moved, no problem. Here is my issue. The registration person said, " I am glad you let us know about the AC. We ONLY know when a guest tells us." Really? If I pay $200 a night for a room, I expect it to be ready and in perfect condition. Why are these rooms not being checked to make sure everything works before guest arrival? Especially when there are 4 hotel workers standing around the registration area drinking coffee and relaxing in the mornings? The west coast Hamptons are classy and what I expect. The east coast hotel was such a disappointment that we will no longer be staying at their establishment, anywhere. Plus, homeless people sleep in the parking lot be the river, so we never felt our car was safe.

Parking is an issue at this location. We arrived back at the hotel around 10:30 pm after going out to dinner to find zero parking spaces available except: one in front of a fire hydrant, one under a bridge that borders the parking lot (with two people sleeping there), or at the lobby door (that the desk clerk offered as long as we moved the car by 8 am. It was disappointing to say the least.

Just a short drive to the state capital with many restaurants nearby! Tesla Supercharger station a block away.

Noisy from highway traffic. Very uncomfortable bed/pillow. Impossible to regulate water temp in shower.

Overcharged my debit card 7 times the anount for pet fee and another random charge. Didnt notice till back from trip .hotel room was dirty dusty phone that didn't work and no answer at front desk. Called hilton honors on my phone and had to go down lobby cause they couldnt get through also. Had man vacuum and see the packed dust and burn on lamp shade .smokefree room. Said its a old hotel..never cleaned bathroom or phone. No other rooms available and wanted get me other hotel but i just lost husband and drove from Virginia beach and was so tired and nervous cause of traveling alone..still trying to recoup my money and customet service apology from hotel
