I actually did not end up starting at this property because there was not air conditioning in the room. However, the owner of the hotel was so kind to me. He put all of my luggage in the room, brought me a fan to use and offered to take me to the grocery store. It was his decision to allow me to change to a hotel next door because he wanted to ensure I was very comfortable while I slept. This is not common to have this type of customer service, especially since I ended up not staying. But his kindness and willingness to accommodate me went above and beyond. If I need to come back and the air conditioning is working, I will stay at his hotel for sure.

Definitely worth a stay
Posted 9 Dec 2022 on HotelsAs noted by other travelers, the manager/owner and his son make this hotel worth booking. A bit challenging to get to hotel as the bus that passes it does not stop directly in the airport (need to go to main road). We paid $20 for a taxi. And the room had some small things that were not in great condition. However, the room served its purpose which was to easily catch an early morning flight and had reliable internet for a Zoom meeting I had. Also, the room had a tea kettle and coffee/tea packets and the owner gave us bottled water upon arrival and upgraded us to a double bed as I reserved a twin by mistake. For no charge, he also offered us coffee and a croissant before heading the the airport. Finally, his son took as to a nearby restaurant when we said we needed to get dinners and offered to pick us up when we finished although it was under a 10 minute walk because it was freezing temperature. The restaurant (the new vintage) served good food!

Fantastic overnight stay
Posted 11 Aug 2022 on HotelsThis hotel was absolutely perfect for an overnight stay close to the airport. The owner was a brilliant host and made us feel very welcome even offering us a lift to the airport at 04:45 which was such a lovely gesture. The rooms are very clean and well furnished with comfy beds also. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to be close to Charleroi airport.

Great Service!
Posted 19 Jul 2022 on HotelsLiterally the best service I’ve ever received. The gentleman behind the desk was so nice and ensure we had anything we needed before turning in for the night. We had a very early morning flight and he made sure we were able to get some coffee and a croissant before we left.

Excellent stay and service
Posted 2 Jun 2022 on HotelsOur stay at the park hotel airport in Charleroi airport was excellent and relaxing, the owner and his son couldn't do enough for you and the hotel is an excellent choice to stay,the owner was very accommodating and with the free airport transfer which is only about 5 minutes was just perfect. One of the best I've stayed in and I use hotels alot. 5 out of 5 stars for this hotel,the owner and his son Sammy.will definitely use again next time flying from Charleroi

An Hotel the Lives Up to Providing Good Service!
Posted 24 May 2022 on HotelsArrived after midnite to find out that the hotel was fully-booked. Up stepped the owner of the hotel, who appologized that our room was no longer available and then picked up the phone, got us a more expensive room at another property, paid for it with his credit card, and drove us to the other hotel. In the morning, he sent his son to pick us up and drive us to the rent-a-car facility. That is service and I will reserve the Park Hotel the next time I need to come to the Brussels area.

Stay on a budget
Posted 15 Apr 2022 on HotelsThe room was very clean and comfortable. Overall the hotel has seen better days, its a bit dated with some tear and wear but very clean. The staff was polite and friendly.

Thanks for your unfair review. You entered the lobby and the breakfast room with your children and opened the coffee machine (while everything was closed). You did not even say good evening to the persons who were working...if we deserve 6/10, you deserve 3/10.

Owner of the hotel is very friendly and offered to pick me up at the airport himself, as the shuttle was unavailable.
Very pleasant room and a good selection of TV channels.
Only stayed briefly, as I had an early flight for which the hotel arranged transport.
