Niriis hotel is 1 star hotel, but we have 4 strong points matching 5-star hotels. Close to the beach, clean, cheap with friendly staff. The ratio price to the distance from the beach and Chania is one of the best in our wider area. Hope to see you again!

Everything is close around our hotel. Within 150m there are beaches, mini markets and restaurants. Unfortunately internet in Crete outside the big city centers is slower, especially in the afternoon during the high season (July-August) as every traveller logs in the internet.

This review does not correspond with the reality of Niriis hotel, most things mentioned are lies, and we will explain why. Perhaps the guest had some issues because these comments do not make sense. Unfortunately its the policy of Expedia to put up any reviews, so we cannot delete this one. What do you mean this will be your room? We have 8 different types of room, 2-bed, 3-bed, 4-bed, ground floor, renovated, etc.There is no staff room, perhaps you mean the storage room where we keep the cleaning equipment and its not next to every room. Washing machine was on the other side of hotel than your room, we do not understand how you could hear it because we cannot. What do you mean an alarm goes off? We do not understand. Cleaning is in the morning, if you want to sleep in the morning its not a problem, we did not enter after your request, but then you complained that we did not clean! The cleaner cannot be at your service whenever you want, if you want a better 24/7 cleaning service you could stay in a 4-star hotel. Beach toys are not outside any door. Wifi was working as normal. If someone makes noise, you should tell us, you can call us 24/7, you did not. How can we know when someone makes noise when reception is closed at night? What do you mean rabid staff? You 'wasted 1000 euro for a month at a 2-star hotel, at a 4-star you would pay 4-5000 euro. We booked a taxi for you, the taxi driver was waiting for 2 hours and lost other transfers, and you complain to us? We should complain to you, and we did not charge you for this. He was waiting at the port for you, with a sign with your name? Your US phone was switched off and could not call you. Every reception, cleaning and management staff has keys for all rooms, and thats international for any hotel. What do you mean that you are afraid and not come in? What is the staff irrational behavior that you were not happy? You should have asked to see the manager if there were so many issues that you were not happy, you did not tell us anything until now. There is only one bus going near the hotel, bus 21. Perhaps you did not understand, there are buses every 20 minutes. What do you mean 4 buses? Taxis charge around 10 euro to go to Chania, 4km (3,5 miles) away. Airport is around 40 euro for 25km (20 miles). Hotel is 150m from beach with many facilities around. Why do you say its bad location? If you want to tour, you can rent a car or book a private tour, they pick up around the corner for us. Next door hotel is 3-satr, with breakfast and swimming pool, you cannot compare two different category hotels.
