The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to Venetian town.

The resort itself was beautiful, plenty of activities around the area as well. The dinner option wasn’t included (we were under the impression it was) and it was quite pricey. You can go to several restaurants for half the price of the dinner at Isla Brown.

Lovely property and rooms but pool area was so loud due to an afternoon DJ. Our on was lovely but in a noisy section - downstairs near shop, table tennis area and bar. I think it’s important to know where your room is. Pool was lovely.

Loud music everywhere
If you like 70 and 80 hits and loud music at breakfast, the swimmingpool area and even at the sea side - this is the place to be. Twice a week there were also DJ with tekno Music at the swimmingpool area. The life guard at the sea side (with rocks) was sitting more in the bar area and watching his phone, than at the post by the sea.

The staff and property were excellent. Room service was very slow we were out of toilet paper for a full day and the one time the serviced our room they took most of our towels. Beautiful property otherwise with beautiful pools and facilities. It’s about 30 minutes from actual Chania town but they provide a shuttle that leaves at 5pm and returns at 1030pm. When we got on it was full so they arranged a taxi.

Recent refurbishment - wonderful pools and rooms; lack of room service or lunchtime meal options, except for the great buffet breakfast/dinner are areas for improvement. Housekeeping improvements requires as repeated requests for same queries not actioned. Overall could be a wonderful 5* location but still needs some improvement. We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at Isla Brown Chania! The staff is warm and welcoming, the environment and views are stunning. I got some spa treatments and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. Book your vacation for next season, don’t hesitate. Yes, if you want to see Crete, you’ll need a car- but we loved driving and there are many wonderful places to stop and visit if you have the flexibility of a car. And we enjoyed not being in the busy town on many days. We couldn’t have been happier with our entire stay and will never forget this trip. Thank you Isla Brown!!

This hotel is a real fabulous find! From the moment you step foot through the door, the wow factor is there! Warmest of welcome's and the happiest of staff. Nothing is to much trouble and the staff are very happy to help with local places to visit. Although all the facilities are not yet available as the hotel is only two weeks old. You really do not notice. The gym is 24/7 and the pools are full size.

Nice stay, but a bit too far away from Chania
Very nice hotel with comfy rooms and delicious breakfast. Pool area also nice. However, the hotel is located on the countryside with the pros and cons from such location. It is far away from party, busy traffic and noise. On the orker hand, it takes 40 minutes with bus to Chania. Unless you want to spend +25€ each way in taxi (which brings you there in 25 minutes each way). Limited dining options nearby, but we dined at Mitsos BBQ one evening, and would recommend that. All in all, a very nice hotel, but if you want to dine and take a stroll in Chania, you might consider a hotel closer to the city.

Soundproofing in the rooms were not good, the room next to us were really loud during the nights screaming, running, partying etc. so it was hard to sleep and the staff of the hotel didn’t complain to them about it. Also sometimes we didn’t get servicce from the staff in long time. Especially in the Pool restaurant. The gym was quite small. Overall nice and clean hotel.

Perfect location
This hotel is just perfect and suits all ages. Its idyllic location is only 15 minutes from chania airport. Brand new luxury hotel with great facilities with stunning views from the spacious restaurant terrace. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had and you are clearly spoilt for choice. The Staff can not do enough for you. Greeting you with with smiles from the moment you step through the door. This hotel has thought of all the finishing touches. the whole design of the Isla brown chania is wonderful and very aesthetically pleasing. Will definitely be going back. You will need a car unless your plan is to just completely relax by one of the gorgeous pools. Or you can land in your helicopter if that’s your preference:)

The property is in the middle of no where but it is nice and quite and out of the way which is ideal. There is no beach at the hotel site so you need to travel else where so you need a car. The food is OK buffet dinner and breakfast, nothing amazing but the snacks in the afternoon pool is really bad so skip this. I wouldn't rate this a 5* Hotel more like a high 4* or a low 5*. They do really well in some areas but fail on the details. When I was there it was during their soft opening so there is plenty of room for improvements.
