Great atmosphere, really friendly and helpful staff, it is a 5 star hotel and they live up to it. Yes a few bits in the room are a little worn but it’s more than made up for in terms of the rest of the property. Really enjoyable stay… great breakfast options …. Would defo stay again.

I am utterly dismayed by my recent stay at The Lalit Chandigarh. This establishment falls tragically short of the five-star rating it claims. The service was abysmal, leaving me feeling neglected and frustrated throughout my stay. Despite the restaurants being overstaffed, it was nearly impossible to get anyone's attention for service. The waitstaff seemed utterly indifferent to the guests' needs. Room service was equally frustrating, with each order taking over an hour to arrive. The pool area was an absolute disgrace. Guests were openly flouting the rules, drinking beer and eating in the pool. Not only was this unsanitary, but it also created an unpleasant atmosphere for those seeking relaxation. To make matters worse, the hotel's bar staff actively encouraged this behavior by serving food and drinks directly to the pool. The pool attire situation was equally appalling. The lack of enforcement regarding proper swimwear resulted in guests swimming in their underwear. This blatant disregard for basic decency was offensive and made me incredibly uncomfortable. In conclusion, The Lalit Chandigarh is a far cry from a five-star hotel. The service is non-existent, the pool area is a chaotic mess, and the lack of enforcement regarding basic rules and etiquette is appalling. I strongly advise against staying at this establishment.

Our aim has always been to provide a superior guest experience and it is disheartening to hear that we fell drastically short on this occasion. The lack of service you describe is atypical and it is regrettable that you experienced indifference from our team members. I assure you, there will be re-evaluation and re-training where necessary to enhance our service delivery. Moreover, I am deeply upset to learn about the situation you witnessed at our pool. The hygiene and respect for all guests' comfort is one of our top priorities and I am mortified to hear of such behavior. I assure you that strict actions will be taken to ensure proper enforcement of our pool area's rules and etiquettes. Lastly, I understand your disappointment with our lack of enforcement regarding proper swimwear. In response to your feedback, immediate steps will be taken to enforce pool attire policies more sternly. You have our sincere apologies and I personally assure you that we will do our utmost to give you the kind of service you deserve from us in the future. I would urge you to revisit us and give us an opportunity to make amendments by providing you with an experience.
