Reliable Hotel, facilites need some updating ?!?

i use this hotel , over a period of many years. Location to central area good, for food , metro & tourism. Bed mattress & pillows have been updated, in my room 1#01. Laundry facilites have been removed , in last 3~4 wks & update is unknown, atm. Even though property interior feels “dated”, staff are friendly enough. Mandarin & Cantonese is used. English = unknown. I would use this hotel again , in future.

The location is great. Lots of restaurants nearby, 50 yards from a subway station, and a bust stop also very close. However, the room was just ok. Kitchen had no dishes or cookware, so it was pretty much a waste of space. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have endured in as long as I can remember. It served the purpose. One thing I found strange was that the reception desk said there was no breakfast. However, on the day I checked out, I saw people eating breakfast. Go figure.

Comments on hotel facilities and neighborhood

The front desk service was excellent. When I asked them to change my room because of the sewage smell from the washroom drain, they did it promptly. The shower valve had problems in delivering hot water. Other than these two drawbacks, the apartment hotel is livable. The best thing for this hotel is its location. It is located just at the exit of a subway station. Transportation is extemely convenient. There is an abundance of restaurants, coffee shops, malls and street vendors in the neighbourhood. Very enjoyable in doing window shopping or trying various food items.

Good area

One of the best area to stay at Foshan. But the room is not as clean as the past.
