Great hotel with stunning views of Mont Blanc! Great breakfast buffet, great parking, nice quiet location. It’s about a 10 minute drive to the heart of Chamonix and l’aiguille de Midi. So if you want a hotel outside of the busy area but close and convenient, this is for you.

Very friendly and helpful upon arrival. Given rail passes for free transit during our stay. Train station a short walk from hotel. So we just left the car parked free and used the train to explore the area.

We stayed for a ski break. We had a hire car, and used it for the various ski areas - which worked really well, but there was also ski bus stop150 metres down the road. The beds are really comfortable, the half board food excellent and we loved the friendly and helpful staff.

Hôtel offers standard rooms and superior rooms with balcony. However the room I was offered to begin with I would describe as a standard room with balcony. In my view just because a room has a balcony does not make it superior if it is the same size as a standard. Thankfully the hotel rectified this situation after the first night which was appreciated.

We found the hotel to be very poorly run. On the second day the room was made up. Damp towels were put on top of the beds, used coffee cups were left, coffee and sugar wasn’t replaced. The dining area for breakfast was poorly run. Jars of jams had run out and not been replaced. Tables were left dirty, floor was sticky. Overall this hotel is poorly run, understaffed and the staff that do work there don’t do the job properly. I would choose another hotel if I were you.

Great stay
We recently stayed at this hotel in early September and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were incredibly cordial and welcoming. Despite it being the beginning of the month, there were many groups of tourists, which added to the lively atmosphere. One of the perks of staying here is that the hotel offers a train card, which was very handy for traveling between Vallorcine and Chamonix — a great bonus for exploring the area. We were quite pleased with the hotel, though we did encounter two minor issues. First, our room was extremely hot, and there was no air conditioning, which made it a bit uncomfortable to sleep at night. Second, the swimming pool is closed whenever it rains, which was a bit disappointing. Despite these small inconveniences, if these issues aren’t deal breakers for you, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The overall experience was positive, and the location and service were excellent.

Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities
There are no bathtub in the room, although main reason why i choose this hotel is the bathtub. You should remove bathtub picture in the selecting room page. Also there is bad (rotten) smell in the corridor, which make me feel that I am in the youth hostel, not in the 4-star hotel. In the morning restauran, it seems that fruit salad is expired. And there is no much selection . My general feeling is that this is not 4-star hotel.

Go for the spa/pool but don’t expect much else
This is only 4 star because of the pool and spa. You have to book in to use the steam/sauna and it’s limited. Rooms far too warm and no temp control. No shower gel provided, got a dirty towel with a hair band and hair on it. No fresh cups for tea/coffee - room service, only make the bed and empty the bins. Had to get a robe at reception for the spa as none provided in the rooms. Restaurant is pretentious with average food.

Je suis devenu habitué par hasard, vraiment un petit coin de paradis loin de la ville ! Je regrette seulement que la piscine ne soit pas ouverte l'hiver (': Equipe au top et que je retrouve d'un séjour l'autre ! Je viens aux périodes creuses donc forcément tout est plus appréciable (j'ai même eu la possibilité de faire du room à un jour de la fermeture alors qu'il serait compréhensible que les équipes ne puissent pas s'en charger). Ambiance calme, chaleureuse et tamisée. PDJ et dîner incroyables. Pas un bruit dans l'hôtel - y compris pour des gens qui dormiraient en journée ce qui est parfois mon cas du fait du travail - et équipe à l'écoute des demandes pour arranger le séjour en toutes circonstances. Belle trouvaille et je n'ai qu'une hâte c'est de revenir (:
