The staff were friendly, polite and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, there was limited on site parking for early arrivers but it cost €10, we fancied eating out in Chalons on the evening and left too early for breakfast so I cant speak about the catering except to say what I saw looked very good.

Overnight stay
Posted 25 Jun 2024 on HotelsA lovely overnight stay at this hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. Centrally located but quiet at night, great for exploring the town. Beautiful room, comfortable bed. Superb meal in restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Hotel D’Angleterre. The property is very well maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful and the hotel is located in the heart of Chalon, which is a beautiful, historic city. We would definitely stay again!

Posted 17 May 2024 on HotelsGood hotel. Check in at 4pm and checkout at 11am is quite restrictive . Also breakfast only until 10am on a Sunday. If you would like to eat in one of their restaurants it appears you need to make a reservation weeks in advance.

Initially struggled to find it as the name was in cursive writing! Parking safe and a good breakfast. Central to town.
