Bed sheets and blankets were very worn, even had holes and stains in them. Carpet was very stained.

The manager, Scott, was terrific and helpful. The room was large and comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay.

Not many lodging options in this area but this is a clean, well run lodge that is very quaint

We ended up not staying there. Our friends wanted us to stay with them, so we just grabbed our bags and left.

Location was convenient for our travel needs. We were visiting waterfalls in Buffalo area earlier in the day, ended with the awesome eternal Flame Falls. Chaffee Inn. Was on our way to Letchworth State Park which was our main stop the following day.
It would have been less $ if we booked directly thru the lodge, but the hotel didn't return our email or phone call soon enough so we booked thru Expedia instead. So if you can book direct it's a better deal.

Travelocity was unable to cancel reservation even though I was assured I could cancel before
August 1,2024.
Travelocity sucked and never responded when requesting a cancellation on July14,2024.
