Great Location for Town Center & Rafting/Kayaking

Basic hostel, clean, affordable, friendly staff. Directly across from the river which is lovely. Lockers in the room are large but not enough to store a suitcase, there is no luggage storage room. No lift, but there are a maximum of 2 staircases you would have to carry luggage. Bathroom and showers are in the hall. Need to pay cash.
Location:
The location is perfect. Prior to coming here I didn't know that Cesky Krumlov was a nature recreational area (I went to check out the historic town center), so I was pleasantly surprised to see the river and recreation. Hostel is located about a 5 minute walk towards the historic town area and about a 10 minute walk into the main square of the town. Around a 20 minute walk from the bus station, however note that this commute includes an up hill climb, and some rocky and broken concrete portions where the sidewalks near the bus station haven't been repaired. If you have heavy wheeled luggage it is doable but a hassle, and there are no taxis readily available, unless you know the number to call for local taxi services (I looked some up but could only find taxis for Prague).
The river is visible from the hostel, and you can rent a kayak or raft, and the river is calm and serene, with some slight drops, and winds around the historical center. Note if you are traveling solo, need a group of people for the rafting and I only saw double kayaks.

Relaxing and warm atmosphere
Posted 15 Apr 2018 on HotelsClean, tidy and warm house with nice staffs. It takes around 15 mins walk to central and 20 mins walk to bus station, supermarkets and restaurants are very close to the hostel. Enjoyed the stay there!

Posted 2 Sep 2018 on HotelsLo pasé muy bien. Me costó encontrar el hostel pues las calles no tienen el nombre así que es muy difícil identificarlas, pero una vez que lo encontré estuvo todo bien. La atención buena, la limpieza también, los huéspedes muy tranquilos. Todo en orden y amable

청결도도 딱히 문제가 없었지만 2층 도미토리라 딱히 편하지는 않았어요.

Servicios básicos no funcionan bien
Posted 29 Nov 2017 on HotelsEl hostal en si esta bien, pero los servicios no son tan buenos.
En particular en la noche no hay agua caliente, porqu el sistema que tienen parace que lo apagan, tue que calentar agua en ollas para poder bañarme en la noche (tipo 20 Hrs.), ya que no habia nadie en recepción para pedir ayuda, pense que era solo el baño de la habitacion, pero fui a las duchas comunes y otra huesped se estaba bañando con agua helada porque no tenia opcion, me dijo que fue horrible bañarse, ya que hacia frio. si uno quiere leer un poco tarde no puede porque hay una sola luz para la habitacion y a los demas les molesta, deberian tener luz individual en cada cama. Lo otro es que el baño tiene luz y extractor de aire automatico que se enciende al entrar, pero se demora en apagarse y el sonido es molesto cuando uno quiere ir al baño en la noche.
La cocina en si esta bien equipada, no hay nada que decir con respecto a eso.
