Lovely hotel in the heart of Haarlem. Walkable from the train station. My go-to when in the area.

The hotel was in a great location being next to Dam Square in the centre of Haarlem.
It was expensive and the room was disappointing as it was tatty and in need of refurbishment. The curtains were marked and the toilet seat was loose so it slipped to the side. One of the bedside lamps also didn’t work. It was generally noisy with people walking along the corridors and doors banging in the hotel.

We do appreciate you loved the location in the middle of the center of Haarlem As you stated the curtains were marked, the lamps didn’t work and the toilet seat was loose which all is very inconvenient. I do hope you told reception about these because some could have been fixed immediately. The curtains repair we did so thank you for letting us know.You also stated that there were loud (doors) banging and noisy people in the corridors. Friendly staff and accommodated my gluten free requests. 4th floor room very warm, even in October. Very clean. Beware- we enjoyed a nice buffet breakfast daily and were quite surprised to be presented with a bill for 123 Euros upon leaving! There was no communication about the fee for buffet. We had interactions w several front desk staff, and never a mention of the fee. Poor customer service in that area.

In the center of Haarlem and easy access to the surrounding area. I had a rental car and the public garage is right next to the hotel. Easy to drive to other towns and. Ities from there. Will definitely stay there every time I go to the Netherlands.
