"Super convenient to ski slopes. The hot tub was not functioning, also water was out when we arrived. Water was murky & cold through the next day once it started working. Check in for 1 of the rooms out of the 2 we reserved, was well past check in time. "

"Online the room that we booked looked bright and clean. However upon checking in (which did not include being face to face with anyone) there were bugs all over the outside of our door so when we entered they all flew right into our room. The second we walked in we could smell a old musty smell along with a muggy feeling inside. The surfaces in the room were dusty and the bathroom did not look like it had been cleaned. "Convenient location to the ski resort"

"I thought The Shire was great!. Very clean. Friendly staff. Great coffee. Quiet. Walking distance to town. This is a motel like set up. No restaurant but plenty around and a grocery store across the street. Rugs in rooms. I don’t like that but they were very clean. Excellent shampoo, high quality body cream that smelled great! Nice touch! "
