The room was bare bones, even for a Motel 6. No amenities in the room at all. One bath towel, one hand towel. Nothing on the walls or the bed. One chair.
I realize that this next problem is not the owners fault, but the motel is in a horrible place; just off I70 and near the local jail. There were people screaming all night, dogs barking, people outside getting high at 3:30 in the morning, which is when I had to leave to catch my flight.
The shower looked like someone had washed their engine in it.
The motel appears to have long term clientele, always a bad sign, and there were people literally sleeping outside along the outer walls. Lot's of homeless nearby; not necessarily their fault, but still a sign of an extremely depressed neighborhood.
In short, avoid this motel like the plague, even for the rock bottom price, you will be over paying.
