I am neutral on this property. Likes include location and the spa. The negatives include the noise level, the lack of lighting in the room, and the low/uncomfortable beds. For the cost, not worth it.

I was very excited to book a two night stay at the W. The facilities themselves are gorgeous, but the rooms missed the mark on being practical. The bathroom sink is right when you walk in. Not an issue, but if I'm doing something at sink/ counter, and door is opened, passerby's in hall get a clear look. Also shower / toilet room has no privacy as it's separated by a sliding glass door- no noise suppression.
Finally, there is limited storage space to put things away. You get one slim hanging closest and four baby sized drawers. For a double bed room, it's too little if you ask me. Finally, the ventilation system could use some work. In one day, the room was covered in dust particles. It became apparent when we woke up after first night there - the whole family was stuffy and coughing. Left for the day to sightsee and no issues. Came back to hotel room, and within an hour were all stuffy and coughing again. Room was cleaned that morning. Took a look at furniture and there was a layer of dust everywhere. So obviously an air filter is needed. We loved Philly, but the hotel room was more annoying than comforting.
