Hello Brent.First of all, thank you for your review, even if it was very bad. You actually gave us the worst score you could have given us, with only 2 points out of 10 possible.Our staff is actually all very friendly. We don't quite understand why this was the case with you, but we can only apologize for it and assure you that you won't have this experience again if you stay again. That is not the hotel's philosophy.The main door was actually broken and we had to wait a long time for a new door. Like everywhere else in the world, it is very difficult to get tradesmen or parts. The entrance door has now been replaced and is working perfectly again.The other points in your review are a real shame for us. You were with us from Saturday to Monday and before your stay you were also informed that we are closed on Sundays. If you had not wanted this or if it had been a requirement for you, you could of course have booked another hotel. We also communicated the location and the fact that we don't have an elevator on all booking platforms so as not to cause confusion among guests, as has now happened to you.I hope that you at least visited our restaurant on Saturday evening. Since this bothered you on Sunday, you had the opportunity to do so on Saturday and unfortunately didn't write anything about it.You also didn't mention the room itself, which is of course the most important thing about a stay in a hotel.We are of course extremely sorry that you didn't feel comfortable with us.If you want to stay in Celle again, we would be happy to provide you with a room again.You would then also see that we can do it much better than we apparently showed you.Best regardsYour team from Heidekönig

Dear Ian, thank you for your good rating. That we are not suitable for wheelchair users isnt right. If these guests tell us before, we have rooms in the ground floor without any stairs or something else.
