"Our 5 night stay at Lodge Quelana was wonderful! We wanted to stay at a really nice, relaxing and quiet hotel while in San Pedro de Atacama and Lodge Quelana was perfect. "Very friendly staff, made us feel at home. We stayed in one of the new house rooms, comfortable and with a nice terrace. They have 2 pools and plentynof public space in any of the 2 main houses, where you have tea/coffee/juices/water available to you and even kitchen and fridge available to guests. "My wife and I stayed at Jardin Atacama for about a week and we loved the place! It is a comfortable, private and quiet property located right on the edge of San Pedro's downtown core. It is very easy to get in or out by car if you drive and you can easily walk to all the restaurants and stores downtown. "Fantastic hotel. Great customer service and away from the busy centre of San Pedro. Lacked some amenities such as a fridge and television but not really an issue as we were out everyday for activities. The external approach needs paving but this maybe done later as an extension seems in progress. The restaurant really does not match the standard of the hotel. There is limited choice for vegetarians and vegans other than Pasta or Salad. Similarly, the breakfast has limited hot food options. "

"The hotel was nice. Unfortunately we got a dark room without much of natural light. The property owner offered to move us to a room with a window but we did not want to move for the remaining of our stay … just two more nights. Our room could use a little bit of upkeep. Place is built of adobe and some parts are peeling a bit. The room was comfortable and spacey and staff were nice and accommodating. Location is great, within walking distance to downtown to shops and dining. "

"Hostal San Pedro is a nice place, I plan on returning early next year. The owners are very friendly, the property is kept clean, it's a secure and safe place. The shared kitchen has everything one needs to cook, the property has some common areas to relax or eat in. I appreciated that our room had a small refrigerator. Everything is within walking distance - less than 5 minutes to the bus station, 10 minutes from the main area where all the travel agencies are. "
