The bedroom and bathroom were very small and basic but it was very clean and everything worked. The receptionist in particular made us very welcome and was extremely helpful. Dinner was good and was very reasonably priced. The room was overpriced.

I have stayed here before and got a lovely welcome after a 5 years absence. Room was clean and comfortable, but noted the stairs carpet was showing some wear, which took a little shineoff the overall appearance, but not enough to spoil my stay

Dissatisfied

Posted 20 Jan 2018 on Hotels
Room acceptable and clean. Suitable for one night stay. Have stayed several times over past few years but breakfast has gone downhill. Nothing fresh.everything prewrapped straight from the wholesalers, very dissapointing for France. The cafe style restaurant for the evening meal, which is usually good, was very dissapointing. Very limited selection even at 7:30 in the evening. Will think twice about staying there again which is a great shame as we have used this place over the last eight years.

Clean and basic. Staff excellent. Great for dog stay. Don't bother eating in, not good. Overall you get what you pay for.

Give breakfast a miss

Posted 25 Jul 2017 on Hotels
As always we enjoyed our stay at the Aliotel. It represents very good value for money with plenty of parking, although not secure parking, it is a quiet area and we have never had a problem. The cafeteria/restaurant is very reasonable giving a wide range of food and prices. This year we were dissapointed in the breakfast. There was no fresh bread, croissants, cheese or ham as expected in France. Everything was pre wrapped, long life, probably bought at the local wholesalers in bulk. We will not have breakfast there again. In spite of this we will stay there again.

Good stopover.

Posted 21 Jul 2015 on Hotels
We travel back and forth between UK and Spain several times a year and find The Aliotel a fantastic stopover. The hotel represents terrific value for money. The rooms are basic but clean and a bit bigger than the average cheap motel. The food is excellent and run on cafeteria lines and we had a three course meal with wine for under 15€. There is even a pool if you are there in the summer. They also have a Motel next door if you want something cheaper, also clean. Both places have air con. Dogs are welcome and there are large grounds in which to run them after a long journey. Plenty of parking, although not secure, but being out of town and not on an industrial estate we feel quite happy leaving our loaded car in the grounds. In all a good stopover but book ahead as they are usually fairly busy.
