Staff were extremely helpful and the room was clean and well decorated. The hotel itself has a charming atmosphere and is set on the edge of an area of natural beauty. Car parking facilities were spacious and on site with no extra charge. Breakfast was superb with everything on offer that you could want. Would highly recommend.

Shoe box room
Posted 7 Aug 2019 on HotelsThe room was the size of a shoe box ..it was called Tiny room...even the sink didnt fit in the bathroom and was in the room.I ve paid 80 euro and not even breakfast was included.Shame on you owners to provide a room like this for 80 euro where you cant even fit a dog.It is embaressing really.You should call it a Hostel not a Hotel

How annoying for you that you did not have an excellent stay with us.
You booked the original 'Driver's Room' in times when it was indeed a hostel, in 1932. This authentic room is 11 square meters in size. It is the smallest room we have. The size is stated on Expedia, so you could have taken note of it. The room is small, but many individual travelers like it because it has all the facilities such as a toilet and a shower. Prices rise during the high season. This is not an exceptional price in the area. For example, you could have chosen a Deluxe room for around 132 euros per night. These are rooms of more than 25 square meters.
If you need help next time (if there is next time), please contact us so we can help you with some advice about our individually decorated rooms. All rooms have other characteristics. But we are convinced that we have a beautiful and suitable room for every traveler.

Wonderfull hotel I can recomend. Very confortable bed and spacious bathroom. Very friendly staff.
Directly next to wonderfull nature for walking or biking.
