"Numa Lisbon Rato was a lovely building, the apartments were great, clean, high quality. The area was nearby good food/drink locations and a 2 supermarkets a couple minutes away. Multiple transport options nearby or can walk to the centre of Lisbon in 20-25 minutes. However, my biggest issue is the air con, even though it's turned on you can't feel it and have no control over it. It wasn't warm in Lisbon 15-20 degrees but the room was still warm. I would not stay here during the peak of summer...

"The communication was appalling. The phone number listed on hotels.com is wrong. I did not receive the email with the check in instructions. Once check in is done, you are supposed to receive an email with codes for the front door and the apartment door… I am still waiting for this email and I have already checked out. The phone assistance has awkward hours, the person answering is bored and answers one question at a time and you need to call back… unbelievable!"

"Amazing property. Close to everything. In the party district which is lovely if you like lots of energy. We opened our balcony and listened to the party!! If you are like us and pack heavy just be aware Uber and taxi cannot drive in the street so you will need to carry your luggage up the cobblestone street and then up to your apartment if you don’t book the elevator apartments, no issue for us because the price is amazing for what you get. "We enjoyed our stay, especially our son who slept in the living room with its own door and TV. The bedroom also had a door and TV, and the bathroom worked well for us with plenty of hot water. Although the room furnishings are old and carpets stained, we were fine with the slippers the hotel provided. The kitchenette included a 2 burner stove, counter height fridge, convection microwave oven and dishwasher. There were plenty of dishes and a good pan, pot and water kettle but limited cooking...

They allowed me to check in early with no additional costs because they saw that I was tired from traveling for the last 24 hours. Room service was great. The bathroom and bedroom were cleaned to my standard. I would stay here again"

"This is a comfortable and very well run hotel. The staff are polite, professional and very well trained. Even though they provide an airport shuttle, the hotel is just an easy 7 or 8 minute walk from terminal 1 at the Lisbon Airport. If I were passing through this airport again and needed a hotel at the airport, I would stay ant the Melia again without hesitation. And, the price was very reasonable. "

"So my wife and I have stayed in some great hotels in europe and I have to say, the attention to detail and knowledge of the staff in this hotel puts other hotels to shame. the staff went far and beyond. Excellent service, clean and quiet hotel. The location is excellent, everything is within walking distance. It was our first time in Portugal and thanks to this hotel, I can say we have a place to stay when we visit Lisbon next time."
