This property is very tired. Poorly maintained, has uncomfortable beds and sadly although I flagged it at the time of my stay and afterwards by email, management were uninterested. The ‘junior suite’ had holes in the bathroom ceiling filled with loo roll, dirty silicone around the bath and shower, dirty marks on the walls and was laid out as a family room. Its over priced for Venice, which is expensive, but there are better looked after hotels available.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. However the property was not in great shape. The fridge and tv didn’t work. The toilet didn’t work properly and the ac didn’t work. Overall the property was not the best, but the staff were great.

Very happy here
The family room was very large and the double was larger than expected for a city short on space. The rooms were clean and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s situated in a relatively quiet square with a church and restaurants. Easy walk to San Marco.

Magical Palazzo Hotel
Very cool property. We booked the suite on the second floor with two balconies that faced the square. So amazing to stand on that balcony and think that this was someone’s palazzo hundreds of years ago. The old paintings on the walls were a nice touch. We learned while we were there that one of the last Spider-Man movies was filmed on this square so it was kind of cool to look up that scene. There are a couple restaurants right there in the square and there is a gondola and water taxi station too, so no need to take the public vaperetto and walk the rest of the way with luggage. We didn’t know that on the way there but took advantage of it when leaving. Ask the staff and they can arrange it for you.
