"This is an outstanding hotel nestled in the hills with outstanding views. The staff are all friendly, welcoming and cannot do enough to help you. We stayed for 5 nights and genuinely did not want to leave. We were made to feel at home at all times and the rooms were very nice and very comfortable. "Beautiful Resort on the Sea! We had the full terrace suite with the sea view. We highly recommend. Everyone was so friendly. They spoke various languages and we had no issues communicating. The bed was comfortable and we had excellent water pressure. Beautiful pool and beach access on the property. Amazing sunset views as well."

"We spent the first night of our honey moon at the romantic Miramare Hotel in Formia. The hotel (located in an old castle) is situated in a breathtaking surrounding - high up in the mountains with a spectacular view of the sea. At arrival we were greeted by a nice woman who also helped us carrying our stuff to our room, (lots of winding stairs). The Miramare is a special place! "The location is so very beautiful and so very dangerous!! Especially for those with a fear of heights. Arriving at this destination isn't for the faint of heart. It seems to be at the very tip of Almalfi; impossibly high up on a steep cliff. The gorgeous rooftop provides the most stunning views of the Almalfi Coast. In fact, I'd argue very few places offer such an exquisite view of the sea and cliffs of Almalfi. This hotel has breakfast daily and their fresh-baked croissants and cappuccino were honestly probably the best I've had in my travels so far. The older gentleman who runs the hotel is very efficient and kind, (even if initially intimidating). Just don't arrive to breakfast after 9:45 or make too much noise because it's frowned upon. Also, you can't bring food into the rooms, which is something to consider before staying, since it's a hike to town. (A dangerous hike down a dangerous road)."
