Posted 18 Aug 2023 on HotelsDO NOT STAY HERE. This hotel is horrible. Nothing about this is a "leading" hotel. We booked a "villa" that was worse than any US Airbnb you could even imagine. Beyond dated decor, terrible mold/musty smell, 1970's kitchen. Seriously, the worst. When we complained, they took us to a Grandma-style hotel room in the main house. Same smell and just overall awful. The area where the hotel is is also terrible. Do not be misled by believing this is a nice hotel. It is not. And, avoid Costa Brava generally. Do yourself a favor and drive a little further to the south of France. Or, another area of Spain. Don't make the same mistake we did.

Not ideal....tired amd old
Posted 23 Jun 2022 on HotelsIt is a 5 star hotel that has seen better days. Its being milked. You see peeling paint on some walls and the whole inside looks tired and old. The antique furniture and that slightly musty smell does not help.
I would not stay again frankly.
