The price is very reasonable, and has a designated dog area that was convenient. It’s a solid place for the price.

Lots of construction around the area making it difficult to get in and out of hotel. Hotel is older and outdated but clean. Staff was nice.

my family stayed at the national 9 showboat in Casper WY. We would like it to be known that the hotel is not as advertised. The listing for the hotel is very misleading, it says that there is a designated smoking area when really half the hotel allows smoking. This was very inconvenient for my family because both my child and I suffer from lung disease. There is nothing to block any smell/smoke from entering the nonsmoking side causing the hallways to be very smoky and the building to have a strong smell. As well as this there are large gaps in the door to make it even worse. There were also no options for smoking rooms in the listing making it impossible for us to know it would be this way. The room was also very damaged and dingy. The bed sheets had rips in them and the walls are peeling/cracking. There are dead bugs in the windowsill as well as a layer of dirt. The towels were not fully stocked and we were given two bottles of shampoo and no conditioner. There was also an incident that led to patrons having to stand and wait for a long period of time while the staff sat in the back room and talked. We think it would be a good idea to update the listing. We also have pictures of the outside of the building, hallways, and room damage available if needed.

Hello Jamie. It looks like your stay with us was back in September. I am not sure what happened on the 2 days that you stayed here with us, but I am wondering if you had mentioned any of this to anyone while you were here, because we would have gladly switched your room to better accommodate you and your family. Our upstairs rooms are half smoking and half nonsmoking, we could have switched your room to a downstairs room where I am very sure you would not have been bothered at all by any lingering smoke smell that you may have smelled. I am however very sorry to hear that the room was dirty and not up to standard. We take that very seriously and we would have gladly had someone come in and clean it for you or again, switched your room to better accommodate you. We also offer 24/7 front desk service so all you would have needed to do was ask for a bottle of conditioner and some towels. In regard to having patrons wait while staff was in a back room ...... We do not have a back room. So, I'm not sure where our staff would have been congregating at. We take customer complaints very seriously and we are very sorry to hear of your poor experience with our hotel. We do know about the outdatedness of it, and we are taking advantage of the winter months to make a lot of new improvements and upgrades to our facility. We do try and make up for that with our hospitality and the cleanliness of our building and rooms. If you should ever find your way back to Casper, WY we would love another chance to make things right for you and your family.

The hotel is very clean. It’s definitely outdated, but clean. Desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Housecleaning did a nice job cleaning up our room when we out and about. Other reviews of hotel mentioned difficulty getting to hotel due to road construction. That’s true but not motels fault. Price for this hotel is very reasonable compared to other hotels in area.
