"What a fantastic place! This Knights Templar-themed guesthouse is so cool. Great communication from the people who run it-- there is no front desk (it is just a house with 5 rooms) but call before you get there and someone will meet you. In addition, they sent me a message with the code for a keybox so we could arrive and get in our room before the representative (Miriam, so welcoming and friendly) arrived. Incredible views of the region from the terraces. A/C exists but is weak; better to open the windows at night as it cools down. I do really wish they had fans; would recommend you bring a small plug-in fan if it's July or August. For the very reasonable price, though, this was a great deal. If you are on a road trip across Spain, this little house in this adorable town is worth at least a day. The town is ridiculously charming! Walk its old streets going uphill to the olive groves between the town and the castle-- so many beautiful old houses. We also saw pigs in the olive groves, which was awesome."

"The views from the terrace rooms overlooking the Monastery were amazing. The staff was very helpful as I am English speaking. The room was clean and spacious."

"This is the second time I have stayed here, great deal. It is less than a minute from the monastery/main plaza of Guadalupe. Rooms are basic but not cramped, and amenities include fluffy towels, mini fridge, iron and ironing board, wall table perfect for laptop typing, hair dryer, soap etc, and both times I have had good views: town and mountains last June, and this time the monastery. I would certainly stay here again in the future."

"The hotel itself is fantastic with its patio garden, wonderful sun terrace and lovely rooms but the owners were away for our stay so we had no bar or restaurant, and the swimming pool was covered over. We were let in and told we had to find our own food in the village which is harder than it sounds on a Sunday in Spain. We did find a little shop where we could buy some snacks and cans of drink for the afternoon and we were able to get an evening meal at the only bar which was open and serving later on but that's not the hassle which is welcome after a long day's travel. Had we known there would be no bar or food in the hotel we would not have booked at this time but could only go by what was shown in the Hotels app."
