It's been over a year since we stayed at the Microtel in Cartersville, GA.We reserved a room a month in in advance due to myself just having knee surgery. We had a microwave and fridge in our room the last time but this time we didn't have neither, the bathroom was dim due to a blown out lightbulb and maintenance wouldn't be able to change it out until the next day. It wasn't just my husband and myself staying at the hotel but I had two other families staying there also We have never stayed at a hotel that didn't provide the amenities in the room. I asked the front desk to move us to a room that has amenities due to myself being a diabetic and needed to keep my insulins cold. The second room we had amenities but the tub was nasty, it had black hair (mine in braids and my husband is bald) in and on the tub, along with drops of blood on the front panel of the tub. I have pictures to back up my comments. This will be the last time my family and any other members in my family will stay at this hotel because they had nothing but complaints also!

I actually was disappointed because there were no sheets for the rollout bed and there were stains on the sofa. Also, the ice machine was out of order. The AC in the room was hanging off. I was not impressed. then I went out to my car and there were people loitering and they were leaning on my vehicle and I had to move my car not impressed. I will not be staying there.

Breakfast was not good. Was very limited no matter what time you went. They had no coffee and repackaged muffins that were not good. They had nothing hot.
