This is a tiny b&b in the very heart of Getsemani, at walking distance from all main cultural attractions as well as restaurants and bars. The space is small but everything is conveniently and efficiently arranged, with good taste. Breakfast is simple but perfect, you can taste exotic fruit juices, freshly made, and meet other guest, sharing with them experiences and tips. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, make you really feel you are a family guest.

This is a cute bed and breakfast with super welcoming and helpful staff. The property is a little tired--I stayed in the "Santorini" room during rainy season and found water running down the stairs in my room. I got very little hot water in the shower and the room never seemed to dry out after the rains. In a lot of ways, the staff really made up for the propery's shortcomings, but set your expectations to having a little more of a rustic experience. AND, it is super close to everything--lots of activity at night in the nearby church plaza and an easy 20 minute walk to the old/walled city.

Thank you for your review and also for being such a nice guest. We all enjoyed meeting you and chatting with you in the patios of the house. This year’s rainy season has been extreme and during your stay we had a cyclone and a tropical storm that became a hurricane, all in one week…the whole city has been flooded and several neighborhoods have been under more than 1mt of water, hundreds of locals have lost their homes and belongings during the storms. I’m sorry that you had water coming down your stairs, probably from the small window in front of the bathroom where the minibar and the Nespresso coffee corner are. The small window probably did not resist the strong rain of that day.I am also sorry that you could not fully enjoy your private terrace as it had been raining almost every day of your stay and of course the seating area was almost always wet..We are waiting for the rainy season to end, normally at the beginning of December, to repaint the whole house, the rooms and repair all damages of the strong storms of this season. We ( and the whole Caribbean ) are currently again under alert for a new tropical storm coming in. We will check the water heater. Your room has a pressure pump and it should always have a good water pressure and hot water. We are in the walled city, the wall that encloses the Historical Center is about 500 mt to the left of our property.I invite you to contact me at our mail or Whatsapp. I’ll be happy to further discuss the matter with you. Thank you. Cheers, Marcus

Our stay was very nice. The property is well maintained with a small inside Oasis with turtles included. The personalized breakfast was incredible. The Africa suite is beautiful and VERY clean but it has a very strong smell of humidity(if asthma issues) and its tight for a family. They expected us with baby shampoo which was a wonderful touch and overall excellent service. Roman is a gem. Would stay here again.

The hotel is very authentic. It is more like an Airbnb, but you have your own room. The owner is really nice.. He helped me with everything and I felt very comfortable.. if you want an authentic unique experience, I recommend that you stay at this place. The neighborhood is safe and really nice walkable around in reachable to everything. Thanks again for making me feel very welcome and comfortable.

Tradional large family finca renovated into modern apartments, maintaining all the local artictecture and beauty of the walled fort city of Cartegena, similar to a traditional english cottage with thick white walls. This B&B has a private courtyard to enjoy breakfast, served until 11am for the late risers, jacuzzi on the roof with sun loungers and smokind area. Great hospitality from the hosts. 5 stars all round

Very beautiful architecture, traditional big house converted into apartments/rooms. Lovely hosts, al a carte breakfasts cooked to order, served from 8am until 11am, with family tortoise waiting for scraps😊 Comfy beds, clean rooms, big T.V. Central to the best restaurants, bars and historical sites within the Walled city and surrounding area, including a local park next to the harbour and walled city housing a family of friendly sloths, large Iguanas and parrots. 5 stars to this B&B for families and solo travelers visiting Cartagena.
