The building is a very narrow building and about 10 stories tall and not very wide, has very little and narrow parking, it is located right next to work to a small grocery store and drugstore, but make sure you go shopping before they close around 8 PM if you want snacks and drinks because the hotel is very limited on their selection, the breakfast in the morning was very good the morning staff was very nice but the nighttime guy that worked was a horrible person and should be fired because talking to his friend was more important than waiting on people and helping them out because the hotel does not have drinkable water and had no water for customers to purchase at the time, I was needing water to drink from being dehydrated from all the walking around because the stores and drugstore next-door was closed the night time attendant seemed to have no desire to help you and has the attitude I don’t care and I don’t know is all he could say. The temperature in Cartagena is very hot even at night time and for there to be no water to purchase and the nighttime worker not helping to locate some was ridiculous. The room that I received was clean, but very basic white room with a very uncomfortable bed, but the pillows were soft and comfortable. The view of the ocean was very nice with a very small balcony and good AC in the room, but no water or anything in the miniature refrigerator to eat or drink for purchase, bed was uncomfortable, especially the center of bed did have hot shower

It’s more for a next day flight day.
It’s too far from the historic center & La bodeguita, which is where you take the water boats. Traffic gets crazy!
The room was HUGE & clean.
The bathroom was super nice!
I loved it!
The balcony view !!!! Was the best!!!
Breakfast was very good & since we had a morning trip , we could take it to go.

I'm only giving this property 2 stars because of the experience I had after we checked out. To begin, the room I requested was barely an ocean view as it indicated in the description, and it was smaller than expected. The service at the pool bar was on point. Being that this hotel is on the beach, nowhere in this property did it state that we were not allowed to take a room towel to the beach. I went to the beach with my fiance sat at the chairs they had at the beach and went back to the room after about an hour. The AC stopped working and when I went to check out I informed the guy at the front desk about the AC and I left it as that. He then told me that there was a towel that had a stain ( which looked like a sand or dirt stain, the size of a finger probably from the chair i sat on, nothing out of this world.) and told me I had to either clean it MYSELF or pay $20,000 pesos for them to take care of the towel. NEVER in my life have I ever experienced something this ridiculous in a hotel. Charge me if i stole the towel or really dirtied it to the point that bleach and detergent wouldn't work for a small sand or dirt stain from a beach chair but the audacity of telling me I had to clean it or pay was absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional from the staff. Never will i step foot in that ridiculous place nor would I recommend anyone to stay at this hotel after this experience!!!!!
