I had a good experience during my stay from the great service in the kitchen and amazing breakfast to the front desk people who were really nice and helpful. The hotel has a nice pool, my room had comfortable beds but it was a bit small, the hotel is under renovation and is centrally located.

The hostel is in a great location in the Getsemani neighborhood, walking distance to everything. I had a private room and it was spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed, a great shower and good wifi connection. Although its a hostel in a fairly busy area, and there were plenty of other guests, it was nice and quiet at night for sleeping. I really enjoyed the lemon panella juice in the lobby after wandering around all day, so refreshing! Breakfast was also delicious! Big thanks to hostel owner Julio for sitting down with me to chat about Cartagena and for giving me some great suggestions! Thanks so much!

Fantastic location for walking around town. No parking included but there is a big secure lot behind the hotel. Cost us $38,000 COP for 15 hours of parking. Max for one day is $40,000 COP. Very quiet hotel for being in the downtown area on a busy street.

0ne staff member had minimal English. So it was very tough to get information about different things. And as you would expect he doesn’t work everyday. On our first night we were put on the 2 nd floor and due to a knee issue I requested a room on the main floor. We packed our belonging and took them down to the room so the staff would not have to do our move. However we left behind our toiletries by accident. We left the hotel for a few hours and returned and I remembered I had left them behind, so I asked if they could retrieve them for me. I was told I would have to wait until morning because the staff would have picked them up and that they would get them from her. So, this person was gone until the next day and went I went asking for them again I was told she threw them away. What really bothers me is we gave her a $6.00 tip for the onconvience of us moving, she smiled big when we gave it to her. The rest of the week she would not even make eye contact with us. Bottom line she stole our toiletries, even after we were very generous with her. Another complaint the pool closes at 7:30 p.m. No refrigerator or ice machine. If they had those 2 items or even one or the other the stay would have been much better. 1 worker was lovely, she always smiled and worked hard. I don’t know her name but she always wore white cloths. So I guess the biggest complaint was the stealing, it makes me feel violated when we were so gracious and generous to her.

Buenas tardes sra vicky cordial saludos , hemos apreciado su comentario acerca de su estadía en el hotel detenidamente , primeramente sobre los objetos dejados en su habitación aceptamos que nunca se debieron tirar a la basura , sabemos que fueron artículos de aseo personal , nuestra política indica que todos los artículos dejados deben estar en recepción con la información y dar aviso al huésped enseguida , en el hotel procedimos con una investigación y un proceso administrativo. sobre el servicio de refrigeración solo a solicitud del huésped se le guardan en el refrigerador principal del hotel y aunque no tenemos maquina de hielo y gracias por tus observaciones siempre ofrecemos en caso de solicitar alguno de nuestros huspedes guardar algo en el refrigerador el horario de la piscina es flexible , pero por razones de seguridad a criterio de la administración se aplica la política con horario.
