The property was lovely the staff were welcoming and friendly. Gina apart of the dining staff was great! She recommended my Favorite item "the chewy cookie!" The concierge was also helpful in setting up an excellent day trip to an island! All in all the staff the location everything was great!

Bastion was excellent. The staff was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was very beautiful, spacious and clean! Just as pictured. Special thanks to Hector, who helped us with all our reservations and transportation. Gina at breakfast was so sweet and the gentleman working by the pool. I would definitely stay here again.

We do not go to any other place but El Bastion. The service is superb. Staff is friendly and accommodating, amenities are great and comfortable. We’ll be back soon.

The property is beautiful! The rooms are nice. I understand that the city humid but the mold and mildew in the bathroom was crazy. A good bleaching and the hotel would be perfect. Also we got charged $1 a day per person for insurance as we were leaving. Not a high price but still this was never explained. As I head to the airport I have no clue what I was insured for. I was here 3 months ago at a different hotel and I was charged nothing as I checked out. Overall great hotel and great staff.

Our stay at bastion luxury was very good, friendly staff, good service and beautiful location. We had a great time. Only complaint was, I was surprised it was permitted to bring glass cups inside the pool which I thought it was standard safety precautions generally in all pools. Various staff members saw a group with glass containers in the pool and said nothing, even a staff member brought champagne glasses inside the pool for a guest. I was surprised to see that otherwise was a great stay.

First of all, the facilities are beautiful. We loved that it was in the middle of the action in la ciudad amurallada. The breakfast offer left me wanting to stay an additional day just so I could taste everything. The staff is very respectful and helpful. Pool area is gorgeous and perfect to escape the cartagena heat. 10/10 stay!
