"The house is even more lovely than the pictures. Spacious, well decorated and kitted out and very clean. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and beds and bedding very comfortable with lots of natural light and lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The country kitchen is lovely and spacious and very well kitted out. Kate had very kindly left us delicious home baked scones, butter, milk and even some jam. "Loved the location, quiet and lovely grounds. Was quite far from any towns, so if that is important, it might be something to consider. Not enough towels. Tiny kitchen area. All bedrooms and the only bathroom were all up a huge flight of stairs and the beds were very uncomfortable. Very pricey for what was offered. Would get unaffordable quickly if you stayed for very long. But it was a lovely home in a lovely area and very quiet and clean. "

"There was a door that did not have a lock on it on our side and there were people on the other side of that door that could have opened the door and could come into our accommodations. Felt unsafe!! There was also significant holes in the floor and loose floorboards. "

"Name has changed to Canavan’s, (an Ireland icon in soccer) Staff was extremely helpful with local information. Room was big, It is a small, very rural community, and they were very much a part of that community. The food in the restaurant was great, Room was nice. Housekeeping was very helpful. Felt very much like a family. Very reasonably priced that included breakfast. "
