"We loved our stay at Villas Welcome to Heaven. Our room was clean, and everyone was very accommodating. The beds are a little firm for me, but my kids didn’t notice! We love Carrillo and would stay here again. "

"So, I want to be careful when writing this review. I’m not going to slam this place and say it’s total junk. It’s not. It is also not for anyone fancy, or anyone looking to enjoy a place near Sámara, and treat it as a home base. We stayed one night, and that was it. Carlos is a wonderful man who seems to be the manager. Very sweet, and you can tell he maintains the grounds and pool. The exterior of the cabanas are lovely, the pool is lovely, as are the flowers and such. I saw the reviews before...

"Our stay was absolutely amazing. The accommodations were great and the staff is excellent. While everyone there was very helpful, nice, and great I want to recognize some that went above and beyond for us. Yudith is AMAZING!! I cannot say enough great things about her. Eden, Danny & Kendal were outstanding as well. You are very fortunate to have such a wonderful group of staff. They are extremely hard working, smiling all the time, very kind and helpful. They are a huge reason our stay was so wonderful."

"Hideaway Hotel is a wonderful gem in Samara. From the moment we walked in the staff treated us as top-notch guests. Breakfast options were excellent and there is a beautiful beach in walking distance. Rooms are spacious, air-conditioning is ice cold, the water is hot and WiFi is fast. There’s a little pool on property that we did not swim at because we chose to go to the beach. Pool looked clean and nice just a few feet from outdoor breakfast. If you drive three minutes up the road, there is an even more gorgeous beach Playa Carrillo. Go there! – In the low season there’s virtually nobody on the beach. A brief drive into town and there are great dining options. "
