The property promised a lot online... however, on arrival there was just one big mess. Old bike, smelly bins out front, unkept beer garden, old gazebo left half up and as trip hazard, dirty everything, no sanitisers. There was Nobody around for 4p.m check in and no apology when late, asked the man where we'd park? He said Uhh, dunno, I suppose by there or by the garage.. there was a sheet over metal by the garage and it was windy (couldn't be bothered)we were led to a room that felt like 3rd world poverty. Bearing in mind we are a family travelling for our first break after Covid-19 the place should have least been clean. No sanitisers anywhere, carboot sale style table in room with scratchy worn sharp edge, damp/ black marks on wall. Old discoloured furniture, dirt on windowsill and smell of damp/fousty in room. Looked down and seen a dog under our window in a very smelly overgrown waste of garden. My wife and kids were very upset, we left after a few minutes to discuss what we'd do next. The kids begged me not to go back so I went door to door in Hotels in and around Tenby and ended up paying another £170.00 for another room, which by the way was clean and safe for a family. Much respect for Giltar Hotel Tenby.
My worst room experience ever.!

The room was great for the money but unfortunately we didn’t end up staying and traveled home that day!
We didn’t realise they were not doing breakfast or tea and with most other local restaurants closing at 4pm there was no where to eat out!
We didn’t realise how quiet Pendine was and didn’t get off to a great start when try to park near the beach! Not much to do there apart from the beach. The plan was to have a day at the beach then go somewhere nice for tea and have a little walk round the village.
With two hungry young children and nothing to do we left around 5pm.
Was disappointed as we traveled around 2hrs to get there!

Friendly and welcoming, good location and lovely food on offer. Clean rooms.
Very hot in the rooms and walls are thin so can be very loud when other Guests are Moving about.
